This vial contains two peptides that act on the growth hormone axis through different receptors. CJC 1295 is a GHRH analog engaging the GHRH receptor; Ipamorelin is a selective agonist at the ghrelin receptor, GHS-R1a.

Combining them is a standard approach in preclinical work examining growth hormone secretion pulsatility, since the two receptor pathways converge on the same somatotroph population. The pre-blended format removes a compounding step. Both components are assayed separately.
