CJC-1295 (No DAC) in Laboratory Research

CJC-1295 without DAC is a modified GRF(1-29) peptide — a growth-hormone-releasing hormone analog carrying stabilising substitutions but not the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC). Without DAC it has a comparatively short working half-life.

That short-acting profile makes it a useful tool for studying the timing and pulsatility of GHRH-receptor signalling under controlled conditions.

It is used in preclinical work on growth-hormone secretion, GHRH-receptor pharmacology, and somatotroph signalling, frequently as a comparator against the longer-acting DAC form.
