Bacteriostatic Water for Injection USP is supplied in a 30 mL multiple-dose vial. The 0.9% benzyl alcohol it contains acts as a bacteriostatic preservative, suppressing microbial growth inside the vial between uses.
That is what distinguishes it from plain sterile water: a single vial can be drawn from repeatedly across multiple reconstitution events, provided aseptic technique is maintained. Store at controlled room temperature, do not freeze, and discard 28 days after first puncture.
Supplied for laboratory use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Dispatch. Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST on a business day ship the same day. Tracking is emailed automatically once the label is generated.
Packaging. Vials ship in a rigid insulated mailer with a desiccant pack. Cold-chain packaging is added automatically for large orders or high destination temperatures.
Storage on arrival. Lyophilized powder is stable at room temperature for transit. On receipt, store at -20°C for long-term use. Once reconstituted, refrigerate at 2–8°C.
Restrictions. We do not ship to jurisdictions where the sale of research compounds is restricted. Orders to restricted destinations are cancelled and refunded in full.
