Ipamorelin is a five-residue growth hormone secretagogue whose defining characteristic is selectivity. Earlier compounds in this class produced measurable effects on cortisol, prolactin and ACTH; in preclinical models Ipamorelin shows minimal activity at those axes while still stimulating growth hormone release from pituitary somatotrophs.
That clean profile is precisely why it is used as a GHS-R1a probe in experiments where confounding from other pituitary hormones has to be excluded.
Supplied as a sealed vial for laboratory use. This material is offered strictly for in vitro research and is not for human or veterinary consumption, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.
